About the project

Experimental woodcut series in two- and three-colour sets, produced in a workshop on the Baltic island of Bornholm. The contrast and repetition of patterns and colours gives each piece, and the series as a whole, a unique dynamic. The series is inspired by photography from travels in India, and the motif in particular is based on the 18th-century monumental sundial Janter Mantar in New Delhi.
